Welcome

Dear Parent,

Welcome to Acres of Fun Preschool! We are delighted by your interest in our school. Choosing the right place for your child's early education is a significant decision, and we are honoured that you are considering us.

We are located at Plot 1255, Kisugu, Muyenga in Kampala, just minutes from Kansanga and Kabalagala along Ggaba Road, and we care for children from 18 months to 6 years old across our four early-year classes: Play Group, Nursery, Kindergarten and Pre-Primary.

We follow the EYFS/Montessori philosophy and Project-Based Learning, integrated with the English National Curriculum, so that every child develops at their own pace inside a joyful, structured environment.

Our Approach

Four principles that shape everything we do

We build our practice around the EYFS's four guiding principles for the early years.

A Unique Child

Every child is a competent, capable learner who develops in their own way and at their own rate.

Positive Relationships

Secure relationships with staff and family teach children to become strong, independent learners.

Enabling Environments

Safe indoor & outdoor spaces where children move freely and choose their own resources.

Learning & Development

Seven areas of learning, delivered through a balance of child-led and adult-guided play.

Seven Areas of Learning

What your child learns, every day

The first three areas are the "prime areas," foundational to all learning; the last four are "specific areas" built on top of them.

We understand that secure relationships teach children to be strong, independent learners, and that starts with a strong relationship with you.
